Our Gear Lending Library provides shared access to empower women to get outdoors by making backpacking and camping equipment more accessible, reducing financial and logistical barriers, encouraging environmental responsibility, and building a supportive community where every woman feels welcome to explore and adventure. Allowing members to borrow gear instead of purchasing it promotes affordability, reuse, and community access. The library typically manages gear inventory, lending periods, returns, maintenance, and borrower responsibilities. OUR BACKPACKING SERIES
Currently, less than 2% of backpackers are people of color. We are on a mission to empower and equip Black women to backpack to further their exploration of trails within our region and beyond. Join us for our 2026 Backpacking Series which will consists of six (6) backpacking events that focus on educational lessons, hands-on learning, and guided outings. Participants are encouraged to utilize the Gear Lending Library to increase participation.
